瑞典海洋能源公司Ocean Harvesting对其点吸收式波浪能转换器InfinityWEC进行升级，采用了新型能量收集系统（PTO）。据悉，该项创新技术利用静水压力为PTO提供恒定的预张力，可减少转换器的体积和重量，并降低其复杂性，进而缩减发电成本。升级后的InfinityWEC将PTO分为两部分，上半部随浮子产生上下的往复运动，下半部分固定在底锚上。InfinityWEC是一个点吸收类型的波浪能转换器，由漂在水面的浮子吸收能量来驱动下方靠近海床的PTO。

    Ocean Harvesting Technologies has upgraded its InfinityWEC wave energy converter with innovative power take-off (PTO) solution. The technology innovation uses hydrostatic pressure to provide a constant pre-tension force in the PTO, reducing size, weight,  complexity, and ultimately cost of electricity production (LCoE), according to Ocean Harvesting. In the upgraded InfinityWEC design, the PTO hull is split into two halves, with the top half moving up and down with the buoy, while the bottom half is fixed to the anchor. InfinityWEC is a point-absorbing wave energy converter, with a buoy on the surface driving the PTO positioned close to the seabed.
