近日，劳氏船级社授予上海船舶研究设计院(SDARI)210,000载重吨的纽卡斯尔型散货船设计原则性批准(AIP)，该散货船应用了Anemoi旋筒帆等节能设计，可显著提高效率并减少对环境的影响。旋筒帆是一种圆柱形机械帆，当它被驱动旋转时，可以利用风能为船舶提供辅助推进力，由此降低燃料消耗，并减少5-30%的有害物质排放。该技术还可与其他节能技术相结合，进一步提高效率，降低各种船用动力方案的能耗。

Classification society Lloyd’s Register has granted approval in principle (AIP) for a Shanghai Merchant Ship Design and Research Institute (SDARI) designed 210,000 dwt Newcastlemax bulk carrier equipped with Anemoi rotor sails. This ship design to develop a series of energy-efficient vessel designs equipped with rotor sails. Rotor sails are modern mechanical sails comprised of tall cylinders which, when driven to spin, harness the renewable power of the wind to provide auxiliary propulsion to vessels and can reduce overall fuel consumption and lower harmful emissions by 5-30%. The technology can be used in combination with other technologies to further increase efficiency and reduce fuel consumption of all fuel types including incoming future fuels.

MAN ES公司近日与总部位于香港的中英船舶管理有限公司（Anglo-Eastern）签约，将为其船队提供可覆盖功率限制（Overridable Power Limitation）方案，以满足即将实施的IMO MARPOL VI EEXI法规要求。作为对OPL方案的补充，MAN公司还开发了配套的改装解决方案，MC以及ME系列发动机均可使用。OPL通过将原主机产生的最大功率（以及燃料消耗）限制在低于最初设计和认证的值来减少碳排放，从而满足大多数船东对简单经济的EEXI合规方案的需求。

MAN Energy Solutions has signed a Letter of Commitment (LOC) with ship manager, Anglo-Eastern, at its Hong Kong head office to supply its Overridable Power Limitation (OPL) solution, including service installation,  to meet the impending IMO MARPOL VI EEXI regulation. In preparation for the upcoming EEXI regulation, MAN Energy Solutions developed retrofit solutions to satisfy vessels in need of an OPL scheme, both for MC- and ME- engines. OPL reduces carbon emissions by restricting the maximum power – and thus, fuel consumption – produced by prime movers to a lower value than what was originally designed and certified for.
