Synergy Marine与美国公司共同开发新型船用电池

Synergy Marine, Alsym Energy Jointly Developing Non-flammable Rechargeable Batteries for Ships

新加坡船舶管理公司Synergy Marine和美国充电电池开发商Alsym Energy合作,为船舶开发低成本、不易燃的船用充电电池。这些新型电池每年将为船舶提供1GW的电能,满足其进出港及停泊期间的能源需求,并支持船舶在海上航行时的调峰应用。使用不易燃的充电电池能够降低船员、货物的安全风险,同时起到节约船队保险成本的作用。

Singapore-based ship manager Synergy Marine and the US developer of next-generation rechargeable batteries Alsym Energy have teamed up to develop low-cost, non-flammable rechargeable batteries for shipping vessels. Alsym will provide 1 GW of batteries which may be used to propel cargo ships and tankers as they enter and leave port, power berthed ships, and support peak shaving applications at sea.These batteries can help reduce risks to crew and cargo, as well as lower insurance costs for fleet managers and shippers, the company claims.

总部位于佛罗里达的航运公司World Direct Shipping采用了CR Ocean Engineering公司的技术方案,为旗下的一艘集装箱船进行废气洗涤器改造。World Direct Shipping希望在满足IMO/MARPOL排放要求的前提下,继续使用重质燃油(HFO)作为动力。据估计,CROE的多流洗涤器每天可以从主、辅机排放的废气中去除约5吨的二氧化硫排放物,同时还能够清除废气中的较大颗粒物,使该船减排效果达到甚至优于使用极低硫燃料油(VLSFO)和船用轻柴油(MGO)等低硫燃料的水平。

Florida-based shipping company World Direct Shipping has selected marine exhaust emissions technology manufacturer CR Ocean Engineering (CROE) as the preferred scrubbing system supplier for its container ship Queen B III. World Direct Shipping aims to continue using heavy fuel oil (HFO) while meeting the IMO/MARPOL regulations and safeguarding the environment. It is estimated that CROE’s multistream scrubber will remove about five tons of SO2 emissions per day from the combined exhaust from the main engine plus three auxiliary engines. It also reduce the larger airborne particles and, in conjunction with HFO, have a carbon footprint that is significantly smaller than when using low sulfur fuels such.

New Olympic CSOVs Will Feature Ampelmann Transfer Systems

奥林匹克公司订购的风电运维服务船(CSOVs)将配备Ampelmann公司最新的W型电动运动补偿舷梯系统。该系统高度可调,能够在3.5米的海况下完成人员传送作业,还可以根据客户需求进行定制,适用于海上风电场的建造、调试和维护工作。该W型系统配备有升降机并可兼作起重机的舷梯,可以安全运送2000公斤的人员和物资,另外还配有可运输400公斤设备的遥控小车。

The Construction Service Operation Vessels (CSOVs) just ordered at Ulstein Verft by Stig Remøy’s Olympic group will feature Ampelmann’s W-type access systems. The W-type is one of Ampelmann’s latest electric motion compensated systems. The system is height adjustable and can withstand sea states up to 3.5 meter Hs. Tailor-made to individual vessels, the modular system is well suited for construction, commissioning and maintenance work on wind farms. Outfitted with a lift and a gangway that doubles up as a crane, the Type W can safely transfer both personnel and cargo up to 2,000 kg and remote-controlled trolleys can transport 400 kg of equipment across the gangway.

The Airseas Seawing is a wind propulsion technology, essentially an advanced kite that flies 300 metres above sea level, using the pull of the wind to propel the vessel. By reducing engine loads, Seawing systems aim to improve fuel efficiency and cut emissions by 20%. Its Seawings system can be deployed, operated and stored at the touch of a button, requiring minimal crew input. Wind propulsion systems like the Seawing help lay the long-term foundations for the sustainable shipping of the future by reducing emissions right now, in addition to delivering a strong return on investment in the short term via fuel savings.”
