新加坡启用新型海洋盆地模拟系统

Singapore maritime technology centre opens new ocean basin facility

新加坡首个海洋盆地模拟系统于7月26日在新加坡海洋与船舶技术中心(TCOMS)正式启用。该系统可以真实还原各种水深条件下的海洋环境,配备有世界最深的50米超深水池、波浪和海流发生系统、拖曳机构、移动式平台等设施,能够模拟海洋平台、船舶、水下系统等运行的复杂海洋环境,与行业合作伙伴共建压力测试、验证解决方案以及提出未来海洋系统与基础设施的新概念。

Singapore’s first ocean basin facility has opened at the Technology Centre for Offshore and Marine, Singapore (TCOMS). The ocean basin, opened on 26 July, allows for simulations of real-world operating environments in deep, intermediate, and shallow waters. The water depth of 50 meters in the centre pit is currently one of the deepest in the world, allowing simulations of operating environments in ultra-deepwater. Located in NUS, the next-generation ocean basin facility is equipped with wave and current generation systems, a towing carriage and a movable floor to simulate challenging ocean environments that offshore platforms, ships and underwater systems operate in. This capability allows the facility to co-create, stress test and validate solutions as well as novel concepts of future ocean systems and infrastructure, with industry partner.

为提升港口的疏浚能力,澳大利亚的纽卡斯尔港推出新型多用途“清扫”船“Lydia”号,它将与港口的水文测量团队合作,配合挖泥船的使用,为港口提供安全可靠的深水通道。该船配备有一根长9米、重20吨的扫杆,通过由液压操作的缆绳与船体相连,能够把已疏浚的泥沙等从较浅的区域推向更深的区域,以达到平整航道的目的。

Dredging operations at Australia's global deep-water gateway have received a major boost with the launch of Port of Newcastle's new multipurpose “sweeper vessel”, Lydia. Lydia is equipped with a 9-meter, 20 tonne sweep bar, which is connected by hydraulic operated cables. It aims to enhance the overall efficiency of current dredging operations through improving post-flood recovery efforts by pushing material from shallow to deeper areas in dredged sections Working with the port's hydrographic survey team and dredger, Lydia will also provide safe, deep-water access to the port.

PIL adopts Hazcheck Detect to combat mis-declared cargoes

新加坡太平船务(PIL)启用货物筛查软件Hazcheck Detect,旨在根除错误申报危险货物的现象。Hazcheck Detect能够通过筛查货物预订详细信息中的关键字,结合行业数据库,识别潜在的错误申请和未申请的危险品订单。未来,随着Hazcheck Detect用户的增加和行业数据库的不断完善,集装箱航线的运营也将更加安全。

Singapore’s Pacific International Lines (PIL) is adopting the Hazcheck Detect cargo screening tool in an effort to root out mis-declared dangerous cargoes. Hazcheck Detect screens cargo booking details for keywords and includes an industry library to enable suspicious bookings to be identified that may be mis-declared or undeclared dangerous goods, aiming to avoiding vessels fires. In the future, as more shipping lines are increasingly turning to software solutions , it can make further improvements like adding additional rules to the tool’s industry rules library from which all container lines can benefit.

Misdeclare v. 错误申报

Tips:mis-declared由否定前缀mis-和单词declared复合而成。其中,declare起源于拉丁语declarare“彻底清楚”,在文中引申为“申报、宣告”。据国际海事组织统计,近年来因装载未经申报、错误申报、货物不当包装等问题引起的危险品火灾和爆炸等事故,已造成至少十艘大型集装箱船遭受严重损失。文中的Hazcheck Detect能够帮助承运人发现漏洞,规避以上风险。


南安普顿港完成港口操作系统(TOS)升级

迪拜环球港务集团已完成对旗下英国南安普顿港TOS系统的技术升级,升级后的CARGOES TOS+系统可优化港口、码头设施处理货物和集装箱的效率,它的高精度仿真建模能力能够实现对港口运行和规划结果的预估,并在生产环境发生变化之前进行微调。该系统还具有铁路调车截止日期的处理和码头起重机的动态分区等功能。随着这些功能的逐步启用,南安普顿港的港口生产力将得到进一步提升。

DP World has completed the implementation of the CARGOES TOS+ Terminal Operating System (TOS) at DP World Southampton UK. The CARGOES TOS+ solution is designed to optimize operations for efficient cargo and container handling at port and terminal facilities. Among the host of new features now available to DP World Southampton with CARGOES TOS+ is a highly accurate simulation modeling capability, where terminal operations and the results of planning can be seen in advance and fine-tuned before changes are made in the production environment. Other new features include deadline handling for rail yard moves and dynamic zoning of quay cranes. This allows improved planning of discharge operations and empty container selection, to minimize travel distance and congestion. Additional features of the CARGOES TOS+ platform will be enabled at DP World Southampton over time to bring further productivity gains to the port.

Tips:码头起重机是一种专门用于码头装卸货物、集装箱提升等作业的起重机械设备。该设备传动平稳、工作效率高、操作简便、故障率低,可分为门座式、固定式和船用型三种类型。为减少工作过程中集装箱装卸错漏的现象,同一船舱内的集装箱只能由一台起重机来处理,交叉作业会增加调度的复杂性,产生不可知的风险。因此,码头起重机动态调度十分重要。
