中国超越希腊成为全球最大船东国

China overtakes Greece as largest shipowner

根据行业研究机构克拉克森最新数据,按船舶总吨(GT)计算,中国已超越希腊,成为全球最大的船东国。据悉,中国船东目前所持有的船队规模达2.492亿总吨,价值1,800亿美元,船队市场份额为15.9%。排名第二的希腊船东船队规模为2.490亿总吨,价值1,630亿美元,占市场份额15.8%。日本则以1.81亿总吨排名第三。克拉克森数据分析师斯蒂芬·戈登认为,考虑到中国庞大的货运规模、发达的造船业以及日益活跃的金融业,中国船队规模的增长并不让人意外。尽管按船舶总吨计算,中国已超越希腊,但在载重吨方面,希腊仍占据着最大份额,处于世界领先地位。

China has overtaken Greece as the world's largest ship owner by gross tonnage, according to the latest data from Clarkson Research. The fleet of Chinese shipowners has reached 249.2 million GT, accounting for a global market share of 15.9 percent, or about $180 billion in fleet value. This is slightly higher than the 249 million GT of Greek shipowners' fleet, which accounts for a global market share of 15.8 percent and is valued at around $163 billion. Japan ranks third with a fleet of 181 million GT. Stephen Gordon, an analyst at Clarksons Research, explained that China's growth in terms of gross tonnage of its fleet shouldn't come as a surprise, given the country's formidable cargo scale, well-developed shipbuilding industry and increasingly active financial sector. Although China has taken the lead in terms of gross tonnage, Greece still maintains the lead in terms of deadweight tonnage.

近日,舟山长宏国际与地中海航运公司(MSC)签署了10艘10,300 TEU液化天然气(LNG)双燃料集装箱船大单。该船型采用了LNG双燃料主机及发电机设计,满足氨燃料及甲醇燃料预留的设计要求,使其可彻底实现零碳燃料改装。同时该船还具备清洁环保、低碳排放等特性,其船舶能效设计指数(EEDI)比国际海事组织(IMO)严苛的第三阶段排放基准线还要低约50%。在1900FEU超高冷箱负荷情况下,该船的船舶营运碳强度指标(CII)评级至2040年仍可维持在健康营运区间内,远远领先于市场同类船型。据悉,该系列新一代万箱级集装箱船由中集ORIC自主研发设计,具有完全自主知识产权,是目前可通过土耳其海峡进入到黑海的最大型集装箱船舶。

The ships are also clean, environmentally friendly, and low-carbon emission. The EEDI is about 50% lower than the stringent Phase Ⅲ emission baseline of IMO; Under the condition of 1900FEU ultra-high reefer containers, the CII can still be maintained within the healthy operating range until 2040, far ahead of similar ships in the market. This series of container ships is a new generation of 10,000-TEU dual-fuel container ships independently developed and designed by CIMC ORIC with complete intellectual property rights. It is also the largest container ship that can enter the Black Sea through the Turkish Strait.

因奇特造型备受网友关注的船舶“FLIP”,近日已被送去拆解报废。这艘设计独特的海洋研究船被称为“浮式仪器平台(FLoating Instrument Platform,FLIP)”,由斯克里普斯海洋学研究所的海洋物理实验室设计并运营。这艘船于1962年下水投入使用。向该船船尾的压载舱中注入压载水,能够使其约9米(355英寸)长的船身实现90°翻转,从水平漂浮状态转换为“倒立”垂直海面的状态,免受海浪影响。由于不具备自航能力,“FLIP”严格意义上是一个海洋平台。这样一个在水中十分稳定,且没有发动机噪音干扰的平台,非常利于观测潮汐、海洋内波、小尺度湍流等。因此,“FLIP”搭载了世界多个大学的测量仪器和研究设备。在其50多年的服役生涯中,“FLIP”为洋流、海洋声学、海气相互作用、海洋哺乳动物等的研究做出了贡献。

One of the internet’s most revered unusual ships, known simply as FLIP, has been sent for scrap. The Floating Instrument Platform operated by the Scripps Institution of Oceanography at UC San Diego was a unique oceanographic research tool. Launched in 1962, the vessel was designed to “flip” from a horizontal to a vertical position by filling its ballast tanks with water, allowing the 355-foot vessel to remain nearly motionless in ocean swells. FLIP was actually classified as a platform due to its lack of propulsion. Outfitted with research instruments by scientists from universities around the world, FLIP’s stability and lack of engine noise made it ideal for observing tidal forces, internal waves, and small-scale turbulence. Over its 50-year service life, FLIP helped advance society’s understanding of ocean currents, ocean acoustics, air-sea interactions, marine mammals and more.



2023第二季度船员幸福指数全方位持续下降

海员慈善组织The Mission to Seafarers发布的2023年第二季度船员幸福指数SHI报告显示,船员的总体幸福感显著下降,从上季度的7.1跌至6.77(满分10分)。在调查问卷涉及到的所有细分领域中,幸福指数均出现了下降,其中降幅最大的为船员总体幸福感、上岸休假以及工作压力,约为8%;此外,值得注意的是,与往年相比,今年船员的幸福水平从未有过回升。报告还指出,尽管新冠疫情已基本结束,但船员在船期间的工作和生活条件很难恢复到疫情前的水平,船员依然面临着重大挑战:船员换班延迟、船上工作时间延长和薪酬下降,这些问题都导致了情况的恶化。

The Mission to Seafarers has published the latest Seafarers Happiness Index(SHI)report for Quarter 2, 2023, revealing a notable decline in overall happiness, an overall fall in seafarer happiness from 7.1/10 to 6.77/10, compared to Q1 2023. In Q2 2023, happiness levels declined across all question areas, with the most significant drops observed in general crew happiness, shore leave, and workload, showing an approximate 8% decrease. In another marked contrast to previous years, happiness levels have not risen over the course of the calendar year. Despite emerging from the pandemic, returning to pre-COVID conditions for seafarers has been difficult. The COVID-19 pandemic exposed significant challenges for seafarers, including crew change delays, extended time on board, and declining wages, leading to worsened working conditions.
